Welcome to the home of ArcticBreeze Alaskan Malamutes... To introduce ourselves we are Wayne & Lisa we are based in  South Cheshire.
We live with our nine Alaskan Malamutes Storm, Breeze, Misty, Mikey, Sid, Echo, Timmy, Gracie, Wizz & our Cat Lightening.  

Storm is our first Malamute she bounced into our lives in 2003.   After lots of serious thought we decided to add to our pack in 2005., Storm had a fantastic first  litter.  We fell in love with Breeze immediately, she was obviously going nowhere and became partners in crime with Storm, nothing has changed to this day.  

We started get more involved in the showing Breeze & Storm continue to do us proud, both having gained their stud book numbers and have many Best & Reserve Best Opposite sex awards between them. Breeze to date also boasts a reserve ticket.

Wayne did his first working season  with Breeze & her Litter brother Vinnie,  they all had so much fun during the season, not the fastest team in the world but they always finished with a big malamute smile on their faces.

In 2007 we were privileged to have Bugatti ( Am Catera’s Just Showin Off )  from USA come and  stay with us. During this time Wayne showed him successfully at Championship level  and later in the year he sired his first litter with Storm, We decided to keep two pups to train & work in harness together. Misty & Mikey  were the two pups we kept from the litter. 

Misty & Mikey had a great start in the show ring winning many Best Puppy in Breed between them.  Mikey has many wins at championship level already and gained his stud book number at Crufts 2010. Misty has only been lightly shown in 2009 but  gained a Best Bitch award at only 20 months  

Misty & Mikey just love working together in harness. We work very hard to keep them fit & ensure they continue to enjoy it. Breeze occasionally joins them as a three dog team. 

They did their first rally in November 2008 as a two dog team.The winter was spent going to rallies up & down the country most weekends In January  2009 we had our annual holiday in Aviemore to take part in the largest Sled dog race in the UK. Misty & Mikey achieved the fastest all Malamute team  to ever complete Aviemore.   

Their second season saw them up their game to another level, we were also overjoyed to be able to run in three sled races  which has not happened in this country for many many years. Misty & Mikey have  twenty three wins to have not been out of the top three placings to date .

Winning the Bshra championship 2009/10  (DM) was also a very proud moment for us.

Puppies were the focus of 2010 so showing and racing was very limited. Having two litters around the same time was to say the least an experience.  We are forever grateful to everyone who supported us in many ways during this time. Sid, Echo, Timmy, Wizz and Gracie became permanent fixtures here at Arcticbreeze. They are just starting their show careers and we are very excited to get them on he trails next season

 

We only breed when we want to add to our pack. We pride ourselves in producing top quality dogs of excellent temperament. All our dogs are hip scored & eye tested.

We Train, Work and  Show all of our dogs ourselves.All of our dogs live together as part of our family.

We are Accredited Breeders with the Kennel Club; We are Members of The Alaskan Malamute Working Association & The Alaskan Malamute Club UK. The Siberian Husky Club of Great Britain & the Siberian Husky Club of Scotland

We have attended Breed seminars and many canine courses including Dog Training Theory, Canine Breeding & Canine Behaviour & Evolution.
