Mikey

 

 

Mikey is son of Bugatti (Am Ch Catera’s Just Showin Off) and has everything  to offer  as a  Stud dog. Bringing some fantastic bloodlines from the states.    

He has a clear current eye test  and a hip score of 5/3 = 8  which is well below the breed average of 13.

He has excelled in the show ring displaying outstanding conformation with the most fantastic Harsh coat, Great pigment and the tiniest of ears.  He has good  feet and  bone . 

His movement is certainly amongst his greatest assets, he just floats around the ring as if he owns it. He has had many wins at championship level already in some very large classes including Crufts 2009 and 2010

He is quietly confident and has such a pleasing temperament

In harness is where Mikey is in his element, he has so much power and an overwhelming desire to run, he is so focused a real pleasure to watch him enjoy himself on the trails.

Having completed his first two seasons in harness, he has not been out of the top three placings to date , having an incredible 23 wins to his name and achieving the fastest average speed in harness this season for a Malamute team. At Aviemore Mikey ran the fastest time for an all Malamute team in the history of the event.

Mikey is probably amongst the Top Dual Purpose Working and Showing Malamutes of the moment having achieved so much  in his short career already .

 

Mikey is available at stud only  to approved babes who are hip scored and eye tested.   We will expect  all his progeny to be raised in line with the Alaskan Malamute Code of Ethics.
