To introduce ourselves we are Lisa & Wayne and we live in rural South Cheshire with our Nine Malamutes our rescued Husky Cross and not forgetting Lightning the Cat !
We have owned Malmutes since 2003 and are very proud to have produced some top working & showing Malamutes during this time, only breeding when we want to add to our own pack.
Generally only showing our dogs at Championship level and in early 2013 we made up our first UK CHAMPION CH Arcticbreeze Midnite Echo, no easy task in the UK!!!
All of our dogs which are shown have achieved stud book numbers which qualifies them for Crufts for life.
Our Kennel to date has 1 UK CHAMPION, 14 CC's, 14 RCC's, Multi Best of Breeds & Several Best Puppy in Breed and Group placings awards.
We have had many wins at crufts and twice won Reserve Best in Show & Best Puppy in Show at the Alaskan Malmute Speciality Show.
The AMCUK Malamute of the year awards also have seen Top Brood bitch awards, Reserve Top Bitch, Top puppy dog , and consistently have our dogs amongt the top five placings in the Overall, Puppy, Dog, Bitch, Brood Bitch & Veteran catorgories.
During the winter months we can be found at many working events and enjoy running our homebred teams together, All have all excelled on the trials running in two, three and four dog teams they have had many wins between them. We have been delighted to see all of our teams consistently in the top placings.
All of our dogs just love working together in harness. We work very hard to keep them fit & ensure they continue to enjoy it.
Winning the Bshra championship 2009/10 (DM) was also a very proud moment for us.
Top Working Malamute Dog & Bitch 2009/10. From the Alaskan Malamute Club of GB Runners up 2008/2009 & 2010/2011 which also recognised all of our seven working dogs placed in the top ten awards.
We train, work and show all of our dogs ourselves. All of our dogs live together as part of our family.
We are Members of The Alaskan Malamute Working Association & The Alaskan Malamute Club UK. The Siberian Husky Club of Great Britain and Lisa is on the Alaskan Malamute Club UK and the Potteries & District Canine Society commitee.
Lisa is also a C list breed specialist and is available for judging appointments.
We have attended Breed seminars and many canine courses including Dog Training Theory, Canine Breeding & Canine Behaviour & Evolution.
We have no future breeding plans
